Preview: Sophistcation

Cigar and brandy anyone?  Yesterday's shoot with model Bella was nothing short of spectacular, with a fading sunset, crisp autumn leaves and some excellent accessories shot up in the hidden garden set of Nakayama Studios Riverside.  And while Bella had a bit of some choking issues with the cigar (she's not much of a smoker) the shoot turned out great.  Perhaps you'll be able to read all about her side of it when she launches her own blog (on life as a writer, actress and model) later this year.  Enjoy!

Preview: Winter's Wonder

Yes, I do realize that it is before Halloween, but with 4 photoshoots still in my queue to process, this one won't debut until after Thanksgiving, most likely.  It's my first Christmas shoot of the year, and with one of my favorite models to boot.  I haven't actually had a chance to work with Hope in over a year and a half, so it was nice to finally get together again.  We both felt super weird trying to get in to the Christmas spirit with the studio completely decorated in skeleton pirates and spooky goodness, but I think overall the shoot turned out awesome.  Here is the preview image:

Preview: Halloween Ritual

Today I had the chance to work with a model who had done her first and only shoot with me over 4 years ago!  We just finally managed to make schedules work again and so we cooked up this Halloween shoot for you all.  Hopefully it will debut on time. ;)  Enjoy the preview!

Previews: It's almost that time of year

I did some shooting over this past weekend, and since today is the first day of October that means I had to squeeze in at least one Halloween shoot.  I also got to work with a brand new model, and also a couple of live snakes that were absolutely adorable.  Here are your previews:

 

The first shoot of the day was with new model Squeek, who did a great job traversing around the Nakayama Studios Riverside jungle set, despite a busted pipe that created a muddy mess.

 

Then I got to shoot Squeek and Lena (along with Roswell & Ginger, a couple of ball pythons) in my first Halloween series of the year.  (The snakes were fun to work with, but had a mind of their own.  There are quite a few fun outtakes I'll be sharing, including this bonus one:)

 

Anyhow, it was an awesome shoot day and I can't wait to share more with you guys.
